Money Raised for Humble Heroes Foundation
Southern California Bikers Raise Money for Humble Heroes Foundation BriefingWire.com, 10/21/2013 - Long Beach, CA, October 5th, 2013: Bikers joined together at the 1st Annual Bullseye Run for the Humble Heroes Foundation at the Berth 55 restaurant and Queens Wharf bar on October 5th to raise money for an outstanding military charity in the Humble Heroes Foundation. The Humble Heroes Foundation was established to provide financial assistance to surviving children and spouses of service members killed in the line of duty. The foundation will assist families in achieving their life goals by providing scholarships and financial aid. Financial assistance will be in the form of donations such as college scholarships and fundraising events benefiting military families. They will also proudly support other organizations dedicated to helping our military families and pursue opportunities that provide direct support to active duty service members through community awareness and interactive morale programs. They commit to accomplishing this vision as a financially responsible non-profit entity in a manner consistent with public policy purposes. More information can be found at: www.humbleheroesfoundation.com The event kicked off at noon with each person paying a $10 admission fee. With the price of admission each entrant was allowed to throw 3 darts for the Bullseye Competition. The winner at the end of day walked off with a cool $100 bill. Of course in true biker fashion the throw line was moved back farther than regulation to make the task a little more difficult! Daggers Deal and Down Affect were the 2 bands that generously donated their time to play for the event. At the end of the event a total of $1705 was raised for the Humble Heroes Foundation. This event was sponsored by the Devils Diciples M.C. – LACO Chapter. http://www.briefingwire.com/pr/money-raised-for-humble-heroes-foundation
